Isabel Band

Isabel is a Senior Consultant in Guidehouse’ Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure practice. In this role, she works with government clients to increase evidence maturity and audit readiness, innovate program improvements, and measure and communicate impact. Isabel is driven by good government principles and ideating creative solutions to complex problems.

Prior to joining Guidehouse, Isabel spent close to a decade at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) leading high-risk performance audits across federal agencies. Isabel has expertise in evaluation and evidence and extensive experience across immigration, asset management, human capital management, federal judiciary, and law enforcement operations. Before GAO, Isabel taught high school special education and over the course of her career has received awards such as GAO’s Homeland Security and Justice Managing Director Award and Cornell University’s Adams Leadership Award.
