Isabel Luengo McConnell is the NLRB’s Chief Financial Officer. She leads NLRB’s Accounting, Budget, and Procurement Divisions and serve as the senior NLRB expert on financial matters. She is certified public accountant with 29 years of experience in federal financial management. For the last 11 years of her career, Ms. McConnell worked at the Department of the Treasury where she held various senior level financial management, accounting, and budget positions. In her last position with the Department of the Treasury, she oversaw the financial operations of the Office of the D.C. Pensions.
She began her federal career in 1995 working as a budget analyst for the Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District, South Korea. Over her 27-year career, she has provided leadership and expertise in accounting, finance, budget, internal controls, and procurement services to various federal government agencies, including the Department of Defense, Department of the Treasury, IRS, and Department of the Army.
Ms. McConnell is originally from Santiago, Chile. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Accounting. She received a Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University.
