Jay Snipes is currently the Chair of the Employee Inclusion Action Committee for the Bureau of Fiscal Service. The committee’s purpose is to foster an equitable, safe and inclusive workplace that promote diversity, inclusion, and awareness within the Fiscal Service. In his day job, Jay is the Director of Operations within the Bureau of the Fiscal Service. Jay has his Doctorate of Business Administration and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Professional (PMI-ACP), along with many other certifications. Jay has successfully utilized his skills in the public and private industry, building and managing. Jay has made a personal commitment to diversity, inclusion, social justice, and mentoring. Jay founded and is the board member of Revolution Impact, a non-profit that provides mentorship for disadvantaged middle and high school students. In addition, he serves on the Board of Childcare Resources a Birmingham, Alabama based non-profit organization whose mission is to make quality care and education of children happen by providing information, education, and assistance to families, providers of childcare, and the community. Jay enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Britney, son Jackson, and daughter Blakely. In his downtime, he can be seen chauffeuring his kids around to multiple sporting events.
