Mr. Leecost is the Associate Chief Risk Officer within the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of Enterprise Risk. He has a background in Enterprise Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, Financial management, and Financial Audit, with deep knowledge of internal controls, operational risk management, and federal regulations. Mr. Leecost holds several certifications from New York University (NYU) in Enterprise Risk and Asset Liability Management, Operational Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Market Risk Management, and he also is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has over twenty-one years of experience, with most of those years in the public sector and quasi-public financial and risk management arena. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Howard University and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
