LTC Jayme Hansen

LTC Jayme K. Hansen: entered the army as a private and obtained 4 occupational specialties while he was enlisted: Cook, Combat Medic, Nurse, and Computer Operator Specialist. He reached the rank of Staff Sergeant and deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm, and completed a Humanitarian tour to Panama. During his enlistment to Ft Drum, NY, he obtained an ROTC Green to Gold Scholarship at Clarkson University. He graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate and was commissioned spring of 2001. Then, 2LT Hansen was the Medical Platoon Leader for the “Band of Brother’s Unit,” also known as the 1-506th Infantry Battalion. He was selected to command the HHD 168th ASMC and then selected as the Executive Assistant for Major General Phillip Volpe and COL Brian Allgood after he completed his command at HHD 168th ASMC. He completed his second command at HHC 121st General Hospital and later served as the 18th MEDCOM Brigade Operations Officer. He deployed with the 62nd Medical Brigade in support of Enduring Freedom and Defense and was the Battle Captain for 2 CBRNE DCRF rotations during the three years as the Brigade Comptroller and COR. In his follow-on assignment, he worked as the Deputy Comptroller for Western Regional Medical Command. He then worked as the CFO, CIO, and CHRO at his assignment at the US Embassy with USAMRU-K located in Kenya, Africa, Comptroller at USAMMCE and then as the CFO at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center located in Germany. LTC Hansen then served as the COO G-8/9 at the Office of the Surgeon General and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center. LTC Hansen is working on nearly a dozen projects in Robotic Process Automation and Data Analytics on: Revenue Cycle Management, Workforce Management, and Timekeeping.

Some of his accomplishments during his career include: winning the 2000 Collegiate Ranger Challenge Championship, 2006 8th Army Award for Maintenance Excellence, 2018 Army Lean Six Sigma Excellence Awards Program (LEAP), and the 2021 ASMC Essay Winner. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4 olc), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (1olc), Expert Field Medical Badge, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, the Korea America Friendship Society Medal presented by the US Ambassador to South Korea, Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3) and the Red Cross Good Neighbor Award.

LTC Hansen is a graduate of Syracuse University’s MBA and MPA Programs through the Army's LTHET Program and completed internships at the Pierce County United Way Project LEAD Program, Army Comptroller Program, Maxwell’s Nation Security Studies Program and attended the Austral Group’s International MBA Study Abroad Program to Chile, SA, and certifications through the Harvard Business School Executive Program.
