Jeffrey Meidinger
Director - NWCF Division, NAVSEA Comptroller
Mr. Meidinger is the NAVSEA NWCF Division Director, overseeing financial operations, budget execution, and audit support for all NAVSEA Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) commands. He leads a team ensuring efficient resource management across the NAVSEA enterprise. Previously, he served as lead financial management analyst for NWCF Fleet Readiness Centers at NAVAIR HQ Comptroller, supporting NAVAIR and site comptrollers and acting as liaison with FMBl/2/3/4, FMO/OSD, and other stakeholders.
Mr. Meidinger began his Department of the Navy career in 2009 with the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management & Comptroller, focusing on budget formulation, execution, audit, and financial management for NWCF and Trust funds. His portfolio included Fleet Readiness Centers and Naval Undersea Warfare Center, and he worked with Military Sealift Command, Naval Surface and Undersea Warfare Centers, Naval Air Warfare Center, and Fleet Readiness Centers.
He started his civil service career in 2007 at the Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service, managing travel budgets and logistics for international symposiums, including those for the World Health Organization and Codex Committee for Food Safety.
Prior to federal service, Mr. Meidinger was a Class A PGA Golf Professional, managing operations at private and public golf clubs, overseeing daily operations, budgets, marketing, and long-range planning. He enjoyed instructing golfers of all levels, particularly junior golfers.
Mr. Meidinger holds a Business Administration degree with a specialization in professional golf management and marketing from New Mexico State University (2000) and remains a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America.
He lives in Huntingtown, Maryland, with his wife Jennifer and their two children, Addison and Aidan.
