Jeremy Stone

Mr. Stone is the DoD Payment Integrity Portfolio Manager and has direct oversight and responsibility for the Department's Payment Integrity programs. Under his leadership, the Department achieved five of six PIIA Compliance criteria as determined by the DoD OIG for FYs 2021 and 2022. This is the highest DoD PIIA compliance rating since the inception of the programs. Mr. Stone revamped the Department’s Payment Recovery Audit and Activities programs to demonstrate proper stewardship of monetary loss. He provides program specific corrective action plan guidance to identify the true root causes of improper and unknown payments, ensure timely implementation, and the ability to demonstrate measurable progress. Mr. Stone continuously pursues improvements for existing programs with a keen focus on performing comprehensive payment type risk assessments and mitigating the susceptibility of improper payments.
