Mr. Jerry O'Keefe

Jerry serves as a senior advisor in the DoD space for Grant Thornton. Jerry started at Grant Thornton in early 2019 after 37 years of combined service as an Army Officer and Department of the Army Civilian/SES. Jerry’s last job in the Army was as the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army. In that role Jerry was a Principal Official of Headquarters, Department of the Army and served as the senior career civilian and senior executive in the Department of the Army overseeing a myriad of programs and functions in the Army and in the Pentagon. His responsibilities included setting records management policy to include war records, FOIA and declassification. He also served as the Army’s archivist and oversaw the Army’s history program and all of its museums.
