Jill Jensen
Subject Matter Expert of Payments and Public Sector Technology
Jill Jensen, based in Tampa, is responsible for the Technology, Operations, and Public Sector Products within Payments Technology in the Commercial and Investment Bank. Her global team of 700+ technologists develops and enhances core treasury applications that support many global products. This includes Receivables, Public Sector, Check Reconcilement and Disbursement, Statements, and Revenue Management. In this role, Jill also interacts with or manages JPM Chase relationships with many U.S. Federal and State government entities to develop solutions that will satisfy their customer base. In addition, Jill is currently providing interim leadership for the Payments Technology Latin America team.
Prior to this role, Jill was the Operations Manager for the lockbox site in Binghamton, New York. In this role she managed 130 full time employees that grew to 420 (through temporary labor) during tax processing peak. Jill’s primary customer was the State of New York Department of Taxation and Finance.
Jill is active in the JPMorgan Tampa Tech Leadership as the Senior Sponsor of the Recruiting and Mobility Workstream. Jill is also active in the JPMorgan GoodWorks program, volunteering time at many events around the greater Tampa Community.
Having started as a Retail Bank Teller, Jill has worked for JPMorgan Chase for over 38 years. Her career has taken her to various cities within the U.S. including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Binghamton, Columbus and Chicago. Jill has held positions of increasing responsibility in Operations, Program Management, Acquisitions, and Technology She has been active in the JPMorgan PRIDE Business Resource Group and after six years as the North America PRIDE Co-Chair she is currently the CIB LGBTQ+ Network Co-Chair.
