Jing Williams CGFM
Division Director, Systems Policy and Compliance, HHS
Jing Williams, CGFM, CISM, PMP, is the Division Director of Systems Policy and Compliance within HHS's Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR). In this role, she oversees system security, internal controls, and audits for the financial systems supporting HHS's $3.1 trillion in budgetary resources.
Since 2015, she has led the HHS financial systems working group, connecting the CFO, CIO, and CISO communities to reduce enterprise risk. Her efforts helped resolve HHS's longstanding IT Material Weakness in FY 2018 and its IT Significant Deficiency in FY 2025.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Williams managed IT investment portfolios and led systems modernization initiatives across the federal and private sectors in both the US and UK. She holds an MBA from William & Mary and a Bachelor of Science, and volunteers with the AGA National Awards Committee and ISACA. She is also active in community education, leading discussions on artificial intelligence, philosophy, and coaching.
Fun Fact: Ms. Williams stays active in boxing, hiking, and Zumba. She is proud of her nine-day rafting trip along the Grand Canyon with her daughter, which she finds to be a great source of connection with nature and reflection on leadership.
