Ms. Joanne Zillic

Director, System Support Operations, U.S. Army Financial Management Command

Ms. Joanne Zillic is the Director of the System Support Operations Directorate within USAFMCOM. The SSO is the “boots on the ground functional voice” for the Army’s General Fund ERPs, so Ms. Zillic leads the system capability and organizational change management supporting the Army’s business processes and audit posture. Previously, she was the Chief of the Business Intelligence Division within the SSO and oversaw the business intelligence and data analytics capabilities of these FM ERPs in sustainment. She formerly worked within the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Reporting Directorate as a Systems Accountant. She oversaw the proper accounting and reporting of financial information for the Army’s General Fund, worth over $300 billion in assets. Ms. Zillic has over 15 years of Federal Civil Service encompassing a wide breadth and depth of experience in auditing, accounting, and systems development and deployment, with a primary focus on business process improvement and accurate reporting. Ms. Zillic earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Cedarville College in Ohio, as well as a dual Masters in Business Administration and Public Administration from Syracuse University, via the Defense Comptrollership Program. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM). She is married with three children.
