For more than 26 years Mr. Carlson has developed and delivered operational and business IT systems for multiple federal agencies. He has implemented enterprise training systems for the US Navy and emergency response software for large scale federal emergency response coordination. At the FBI he managed operational IT for more than 1000 investigations. Currently he is assigned to the Office of the CIO as the IT Investments program lead. He is tasked with planning and reporting of the FBI's enterprise IT portfolio with a budget of more than $1B and aligning it to the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.
