John Hill is the Assistant Commissioner for Financial Innovation and Transformation (FIT) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service. However, since March of 2020, John has been on assignment to support the various pandemic relief programs of the CARES Act, the CARES Supplemental, and the American Rescue Plan. John has held a variety of positions in the Fiscal Service, including Chief Disbursing Officer, and Assistant Commissioner for Government-wide Accounting, as well as senior operations positions with Treasury’s Small Business Lending Fund and the Troubled Asset Relief Program. John holds a BS in Applied Mathematics and MS in Operations Research from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
