John Amin, Forensic Accountant, CGFM, CPA, and PMP at the Department of State, specializes in financial and cryptocurrency-related criminal investigations. Mr. Amin developed the Department’s crypto investigative unit and focuses on criminal forfeiture and seizure (whether crypto, tangible assets, or financial instruments). He has lectured at International Law Enforcement Academies (ILEA) in Botswana, Hungary, Thailand, and El Salvador, and has served on several federal task forces. Mr. Amin previously worked at KPMG and SIGAR.
