Joseph O'Neill CPA

Mr. O’Neill is an Assistant Director in GAO’s Financial Management and Assurance team. He works on a variety of assignments including the audit of the U.S. government’s consolidated financial statements. He serves on FASAB’s Accounting and Auditing Policy Committee. Before joining GAO, he was an Assistant Director at the PCAOB working in the Investigations and Enforcement Division. He started his career at Price Waterhouse and subsequently worked for the Government of Puerto Rico as Senior VP/Controller at the Government Development Bank and thereafter as Commissioner of Financial Institutions. He is a CPA. He graduated from Boston College.
