Justin Cole
Director of Data Transparency, The Department of Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service
Justin Cole currently serves as the Director of Data Transparency at the Bureau of Fiscal Service, where he oversees the development of two government-wide data products: USAspending.gov, the official source of government spending data, and FiscalData.Treasury.gov, the official source of important financial data including the national deficit and government revenue. His other Federal service includes working as a Strategic Advisor at the IRS and serving as a Presidential Innovation Fellow (PIF) with several different agencies, including the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the General Services Administration. He has a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Economics and Policy Studies from Syracuse University.
