Justin Poll CGFM, MSIM

Mr. Poll serves as the Branch Chief for the Financial Planning and Analytics Branch within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at the National Science Foundation (NSF). He brings 26 years of experience in accounting and grant management across state and federal government, including 12 years at NSF. In his current role, he oversees NSF’s budgetary and financial planning systems and leads the OCFO’s cross servicing analytics team, which supports internal controls, enterprise risk management, budgetary planning and execution, acquisitions, financial reporting and payment operations of more than $9 billion in annual disbursements. Before joining NSF, Mr. Poll held progressive financial and research administration roles at Arizona State University, focusing on grant and contract compliance, financial reporting, audit coordination, and business information systems. He holds a Master of Science in Information Management, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) credential. He is an active member of AGA’s Washington, D.C. Chapter and previously served as AGA’s National Treasurer.
