Currently, Karen is a Project Manager (FAC-P/PM Senior Level III) in the Housing and Urban Development’s Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, Office of Business Management and Administration, Project Management Office. Notably, foundationally rooted in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. As a seasoned Federal government employee and supportive of leadership decision making to meet mission critical needs, she is passionate about continuous learning which she relishes at every moment and opportunity through application and execution along my journey. She possess analytical skills and varied experience in financial management/accounting operations/policy/reporting/systems/audit/budget execution/procurement, human resources, and supervisory skills. Her Professional/Personal Interests Include: -Annual Gala committee (new volunteer); CEAR reviewer (one of the top reviewers for the FY 2024 CEAR Program) volunteer and 2025 AGA PDT Technical Committee volunteer; forthcoming AGA DC Chapter volunteer; and -AICPA, MACPA and PMI member -Delights in the simple things in life & leisure and recreational activities with family and friends.
