Katrina Scott

Ms. Trina Scott is a passionate federal accounting professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Morgan State University and a Master's degree in Accounting from American University. As a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) with nearly 20 years of experience, Ms. Scott has extensive expertise in government financial practices, including expertise in the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL), OMB Circular A-136, and federal financial statements. With a demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results, she is currently serving as Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting at the Peace Corps, overseeing accounting operations from GTAS to the Financial Section of the Agency Financial Report. Her leadership skills, combined with their in-depth knowledge of financial accounting standards, enabled them to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
