Larry Allen

Larry Allen jointed the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) in 2021 and serves as the Acting Associate Chief Information Officer for Information Technology (IT) Strategy and Policy (ITSP). Larry oversees OPM’s Enterprise Technology Business Management (TBM) initiative, OPM’s cloud cost management and optimization (FinOps) framework and execution, IT audit management, portfolio management, IT program/project management, IT policies, IT communications, organizational change management, knowledge management, and complying with federal laws, regulations, and guidance related to IT while achieving OPM’s IT strategic goals and IT modernization efforts.
