LaTonya Malone

La Tonya Malone serves as the Resource Planning and Reporting Division Director at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In her current role, she is responsible for implementing data analytics and reports to inform decision-making, and she oversees the management and coordination activities to support HUD’s $70+ billion-dollar budget. La Tonya has over 12 years of Federal Government experience and is passionate about identifying opportunities to use technology to improve processes and reporting. Before her government career, she worked in the private sector for defense contractors in project management, accounting, program budgeting, and forecasting. La Tonya received her undergraduate degree in finance from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. In her spare time, she enjoys being a mom, loves yoga, and completing puzzles.
