Leslie Sinnett

As the Financial Management Division Director of the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Leslie is a strategic and forward-thinking executive responsible for planning, monitoring, reporting, and policy setting for the Bureau’s resources. Recent focus has been on optimizing operations through the automation and streamlining of the Bureau's various funding sources through the implementation of COMPASS the bureau's enterprise budget planning and monitoring solution.
Leslie has 13 years of Federal Service, with experience ranging from financial reporting, shared service funds management, cost accounting, budget analysis, and policy setting. Mrs. Sinnett is committed to ensuring delivery of data for decision making in the most efficient way possible and to support that has been focused on evaluating Fiscal Service’s internal processes to streamline, automate, and create efficiencies in the way they plan for, monitor, and report on budgetary activities.
Prior to joining the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Leslie served in a variety of accounting, sales, management, and comptroller roles across the private sector. Leslie received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from Marietta College and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration of Accounting from Strayer University. Leslie has also received certification for business process management and an associate’s certificate from George Washington University in Project Management.
