Lisa has over 30 years of experience in the U.S. Federal government, serving in a variety of progressively responsible leadership positions, demonstrating her ability to expertly manage complex programs in a Federal government entity. An effective executive leader who systematically approaches the greatest challenges with patience and diplomacy, she consistently achieves results demonstrating her ability to lead and motivate diverse teams using collaborative and innovative techniques. In October 2020, she joined NASA’s Langley Research Center as the Associate Director. In this capacity, she serves as the chief operating officer managing day-to-day operations of a $1 billion research and development entity, supporting aeronautics, earth and space science, space technology, and human space exploration. She is responsible for aligning Langley’s institutional resources and infrastructure to meet current and future NASA mission needs, optimizing both effectiveness and efficiency. Her prior responsibilities include oversight of NASA's $3 billion mission support portfolio, including Human Capital, Procurement, Protective Services, and Infrastructure. She provided executive leadership and oversight of NASA's Office of the Chief Financial Officer, directing financial policy, reporting, management, and internal controls activities across the agency's $24 billion portfolio of science, aeronautics, space technology, and space exploration programs. Lisa was also the Director for Financial Policy and Operation for the General Services Administration.
