Luke Sheppard

Luke Sheppard began his career with the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service) in 2007 and has over ten years of experience working in the government-wide accounting arena. Luke has helped to stand up and modernize accounting systems for Fiscal Service to be used by the government-wide reporting entities including the Governmentwide Treasury Account System Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS), FACTS II, and FACTS I. Luke then went on to serve as the General Fund Accounting Branch Manager for last three years. In that capacity Luke worked to establish a cohesive reporting model for the General Fund that will accurately portray the Generals Fund’s financial position and achieve favorable audit results. More recently Luke began working in the Financial Reports Division as Director. In this role, Luke will be working to remediate all outstanding audit findings on the Financial Report and push Financial Reporting forward.
