Maribel Langas Miller, with a career rooted at the intersection of finance, accounting, and oversight, has built her decades-long career shaping policy, oversight, and financial accountability at the highest levels of government. Currently serving at the Department of War (DoW) in the Pentagon, she leads portfolios that encompass sensitive activities, loan and loan guarantees, and public-private partnerships; and supports the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—ensuring that every dollar entrusted to the DoW is managed with integrity and aligned with both congressional mandates and national priorities. At the Department of the Interior, she reinforced strategic governance efforts on a national scale, ensuring that financial policies aligned with broader governmental objectives. As a leadership fellow in the White House Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget, she played a pivotal role in implementing President Trump’s first-term Management Agenda, driving transformative policy improvements across federal agencies. She has set foot on all seven continents—proof that curiosity and courage fuel both her passport and profession.
