Lieutenant Colonel Matt McDonald has served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard since 2001. He has completed assignments in a variety of command and staff positions as an Infantry/Armor officer to include Platoon Leader, Troop Commander, Battalion Executive Officer, and Brigade Operations Officer. He currently commands 365 Reconnaissance Troopers of the 1st Squadron, 105th Cavalry Regiment and serves as the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s Deputy Chief of Staff—Strategic Plans.
