Mauricio Valdez

Mauricio Valdez has served in the Financial Management Division since 2014. In his current capacity, Mauricio leads the Department-wide implementation of the Go.gov travel system, overseeing the coordination and transition of all DHS Components to the new platform. He ensures sustainability and compliance with DHS policy and security standards throughout the process. As the Go.gov Project Manager for DHS, Mauricio directs efforts to modernize and streamline digital services across the Department. He leads cross-functional teams in collaboration with the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer, Procurement, and Component offices to execute complex project plans, with full implementation targeted for Fiscal Year 2027.
