Megan Howell is the Special Agent-in-Charge (SAC) for the Department of Labor – Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) Office of Investigations – Division of Investigations. In her current capacity, SAC Howell has day-to-day oversight of the agency’s nationwide investigative program, to include pandemic-related unemployment insurance (UI) fraud investigations. SAC Howell previously served as the Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge for the agency’s Chicago Region and was a field agent assigned to the Detroit Field Office, where she investigated numerous high-impact fraud matters, to include UI.
