Melissa Sizemore CGFM, CPA

Melissa Sizemore is a Partner with Cotton & Company, a licensed CPA firm with 40 years’ experience providing a full range of audit and advisory services to federal, state and local governments. Ms. Sizemore leads multiple engagements specializing in Federal financial management and advisory services. She has a wide range of experience in financial consulting and accounting support services including assisting her clients with addressing complex accounting and financial reporting issues, audit remediation efforts, financial management and internal control processes, financial reporting, accounting standard implementation, and audit support. Melissa holds a B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). She has also been recognized by George Mason University’s School of Business as a Prominent Patriot and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce as a ‘40 Under 40’ Honoree for her professional accomplishments, scholastic achievements, and community impact.
