Michael Barker CGFM

Mr. Barker has over thirty-five years of experience primarily specializing in Federal Financial Management System requirements, design, development, and implementation. He is currently Vice President, Federal Financials Product Management at Workday and is responsible for ensuring Workday’s financial applications meet Federal Financial Management System requirements. Prior to joining Workday, Mr. Barker was a Senior Director at Oracle where he was responsible for Federal Financials product management. Prior to his time at Oracle, he was employed with BearingPoint as a Senior Manager where he managed financial system implementation engagements for various federal agencies. He also worked for KPMG as both a public sector consultant and as an auditor. Mr. Barker holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Richmond, an MBA from the College of William & Mary, and an MS in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.
