Michael, formerly Director of the Government Auditing Training Institute and Federal Financial Management for Graduate School USA, has returned to MCI as a Senior Instructor/Program Advisor. He served over 42 years in federal audit, staff, management and executive positions with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the federal Inspector General community including as Assistant Inspector General at US EPA and as Inspector General of the National Endowment for the Arts. Michael has a BBA and MBA in Finance and Economics from the George Washington University, attended Harvard University, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, the Federal Executive Institute and is a former national officer of the Association of Government Accountants. Michael has been an adjunct professor/lecturer of management/leadership, finance, white collar crime, and auditing since 1975, including at the University of Maryland, George Mason University, University of Michigan, Florida Atlantic University, the Federal Air Marshall Academy, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and the Council of Inspectors General Training Academy Graduate School USA and Management Concepts Inc.(MCI). He created The Montgomery Summer Tennis Camps, published professional articles a number of course texts, is an orchestra leader/performer including at the Kennedy Center and for Presidential Inaugural Balls; commissioner of several adult sports leagues and a certified cruise speaker. Michael Binder is currently the creator and host of the syndicated radio news program, “The Search for Accountability” on Federal News Network, 1500 am.
