Michael Tennenbaum PhD

Michael Tennenbaum, PhD is a Senior Data Scientist in the US Government Accountability Office’s Innovation Lab. In the Lab he builds tools for GAO to enhance our use of data for both oversight and internal use. He is a soft matter physicist by training and a policy data scientist by profession. He made the switch to policy through the AAAS Science Technology Policy Fellowship and has now been working in government for four years. He holds a PhD and MS from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS from the University of California, Merced.
