Nancy Kingsbury PhD
Managing Director, Applied Research and Methods, U.S. Government Accountability Office
Nancy Kingsbury is the Managing Director of the Applied Research and Methods team at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, a position she has held for 17 years. Her other senior positions at GAO included head of the General Government Division, and several senior positions in defense and international affairs work. Prior to coming GAO, Nancy held senior positions at the Peace Corps and the Office of Personnel Management. Nancy holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Miami (Florida), and a M.S. and Ph.D. in experimental psychology from The Johns Hopkins University. She is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
