Ms. Neha Diwan

Neha Diwan recently joined the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as a Senior Audit Analyst in the Risk and Compliance team. Previously, she led the Internal Audit Office for the National Ocean Service in NOAA. As a lead internal auditor at NOAA, she assisted the CFO by managing and reviewing high-risk programs for nine program offices and ensuring the offices had sound accounting policies and internal controls. Neha has over 11 years of experience in the Federal Government and private sector, performing internal controls and performance audits, accounting, financial management, and business advisory services. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Internal Controls Auditor.
