Nicole Boswell MBA, CPM

Nicole Boswell, MBA, CPM, is the current Accounting Manager of Financial Operations and Assistant CFO for the State of Alabama Department of Insurance in Montgomery, Alabama where she oversees the agency's budget and supervises Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Procurement, Travel, Property and Payroll. She has been with this department since April 16, 2008. She is also the current National Governing Board Area Director 4 for AGA. Nicole is a native of Tuskegee, Alabama currently living in Montgomery, Alabama. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Troy University. She also received her Master of Business Administration and a Certificate in Forensic Accounting from Troy University Montgomery. Since December 2008, Nicole has served in many roles with the AGA Montgomery Chapter, including President-Elect (2019-2020), President (2020-2021) and the National Council of Chapters Representative (2022-2023). She has served on the AGA PDT Hosting committee since 2016. She is also a member of Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Government Finance Officers Association of Alabama and serves on the board of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Managers.
