Peter Scavotto
Chief Risk Officer, MA Office of the Comptroller
Mr. Scavotto is the Chief Risk Officer for the Massachusetts Office of the Comptroller. His state service includes stints as Finance Director for the State 9-1-1 Agency and Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Environmental Management.
Scavotto’s Statewide Risk Management Team assists state agencies in identifying and managing risk.
Scavotto has contributed content for several AGA Tools for Financial Managers, including The AGA Fraud Prevention Toolkit, the CAROI II Playbook and the Internal Controls Toolkit.
Scavotto received a B.A. in Economics from Dickinson College and a Master of Public Administration degree from Suffolk University.
