Ms. Phyllis Anderson

Phyllis L. Anderson is an Assistant Director in Financial Management and Assurance at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. She has provided leadership for significant GAO efforts in auditing in areas related to federal financial management, single audits, and performance audits of international organizations. She has also led efforts in standard setting relating to government audits, international audits, and federal accounting standards. Phyllis has served Congressional details in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the U.S. Senate working with congressional committees in conducting oversight over federal programs. Phyllis is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Government Financial Manager. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and MBA from the William Simon School of Business, University of Rochester.
