Randy Sherrod CPA

Randy Sherrod is a Senior Manager in the Consulting practice at FORVIS focusing mostly on fiscal projects with Government entities. Prior to joining FORVIS, Randy spent twenty years working for the Commonwealth of Virginia serving in audit and accounting management roles including as the Director of Internal audit for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and as the Controller for a Longwood University. Randy is a CPA and a graduate of Radford University with a BBA degree in Accounting and Longwood University with an MBA. Randy is the currently the Education Chair for the AGA Richmond Chapter and a former chapter president and NCC representative. In July 2021, Randy was appointed by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to the State Board of Local and Regional Jails. Randy and his wife Leeann are the proud parents of two daughters.
