Rhea Hubbard is the Director of the newly established Office of Grants and Financial Assistance at the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) that is responsible for serving as one voice for federal grants and financial assistance, standardizing grants processing and reporting, and establishing a training and certification program for grants management professionals across the Department. In this role, her office plays a critical part in supporting the implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Rhea has over 15 years of experience in supporting the improved management of federal financial assistance programs at four different federal agencies prior to joining DOT, including the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
