Sally is the Director of the Internal Special Audit Unit, a division of the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General. Sally started and currently leads this new division, which is tasked with identifying fraud, waste and abuse within the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
Before joining public service, Sally was a Vice President within the audit department of a large global financial institution. Sally began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has held multiple senior-level audit roles within several global, Fortune 500 companies.
Sally is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Association of Government Accountants. Sally is also a Board member of the AICPA’s Government Performance and Accountability Committee, the Suffolk University Accounting Advisory Board, and a committee member of the MSCPA Government Accounting and Auditing Committee.
Sally holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Suffolk University. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Sally is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
