Sandi Oswald
Chief Information Officer, Savannah River National Lab
Sandi has 30 years in Information Technology (IT) in diverse assignments. She has worked for both commercial IT consulting firms and government. During this time, she has managed groups including application development, cyber security, database administration, desktop, email, mobility, and infrastructure teams for server and storage. She served as the SRS project manager for multi-company implementations for the migration to cloud Microsoft Office 365 and the NNSA OneID identity. She has been involved in multiple companies enterprise replacement projects (ERP) projects, most recently with Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL).
She is currently serving as Savannah River National Lab Chief Information Officer (CIO) with responsibility for the management, operation and strategic direction of the laboratories information technology and security of those assets. The team supports both business, process and research and development systems. Partnering with the research and development organizations to further science and innovation is key for our national laboratory.
