Scott Burgess
Performance Team Lead, Office of Management and Budget
Scott Burgess has worked with the Office of Management and Budget for the past 8 years as a Program Examiner covering air pollution and environmental enforcement issues. He just recently started as OMB’s Performance Team Lead, supervising a team that implements the Federal Performance Framework, improves infrastructure permitting, and helps coordinate the President’s Management Agenda. Scott served in the Peace Corps as an Environmental Education Volunteer in Paraguay. He holds a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts dual degree in Environmental Biology and Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he spends a good amount of time indoors at the office, Scott generally spends his free time outside, as he enjoys skiing, SCUBA diving, hiking, camping, soccer, bocce ball, and just about any other outdoor activity.
