Scott Nemeroff CFE, CIA

Scott Nemeroff is an Executive Director in EY’s Forensic and Integrity Services practice and is on the leadership team that focuses on assisting Government entities fight fraud. He has more than 15 years’ experience conducting forensic accounting investigations and compliance, and integrity consulting, specializing in matters of fraud, waste, abuse and public corruption. Scott has guided federal, state, local government organizations in the design of compliance programs to proactively mitigate the risk fraud, waste and abuse as well as navigate sensitive financial investigations. Recently, he has provided state and local government guidance when establishing compliance, oversight and integrity monitoring programs related to large federally programs in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery. Prior to joining EY, he led the development of a practice focused on assisting organizations design, implement and execute compliance programs focused of fight corruption of public officials. He has conducted more than 50 investigations of federal government grant and contracts awards in support of the federal government. Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Law from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Scott is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Internal Auditor
