Sergeant Major David Mula

Sergeant Major David M. Mula is the Strategic Planning Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Louisiana National Guard. He serves as the chief advisor for organizational strategy, alignment, and innovation to the Director of Joint Staff. He is responsible for the design, updating, and management of the organization’s Integrated Management System. During the pandemic he assisted multiple State agencies with data projections, strategic planning, process design and improvement. Concurrently he served as the Operations Sergeant Major at the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security supporting LANG’s command group during the historic 2020 hurricane season. SGM Mula holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
