Stephanie Teller-Parikh is the Staff Advisor to the Deputy Controller in the Office of Federal Financial Management (OFFM) at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). She is responsible for advising the Deputy Controller on all issues pertaining to Federal financial management. She manages the implementation of the newly created Council on Federal Financial Assistance (COFFA) and supports the Deputy Controller in her role of Chair of the COFFA and the Chief Financial Officers Council. Stephanie is also responsible for managing OFFM’s relationship with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP). To support the Administration’s focus on payment integrity, she has implemented a Fraud and Payment Integrity Symposium series to bring together mission delivery staff with the oversight community to discuss strategies to improve payment integrity. Prior to OMB, Stephanie was the Director of Strategy and Policy in the Office of Policy and Program Analysis at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), where she led the development of the 2022-2026 FEMA Strategic Plan. Stephanie began her Federal career as a Grants Manager with the U.S. Department of Education. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s Degree in Education Policy from the George Washington University.
