Steven Mackey

Steven Mackey works in the Office of Federal Financial Management, Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Prior to joining OMB, Mr. Mackey worked at the State Department in a number of positions: as a Grants Officer in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs; at the US Embassy in Moscow, the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, and finally in the Bureau of Administration as the Director of Federal financial assistance policy. Before joining government, Mr. Mackey worked for IREX in Moscow, Russia for over ten years implementing State Department and USAID programs. Mr. Mackey has a BA in Slavic Languages and Literature from University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MA from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University.
