Teresa Miranda CGFM, CPA

Teresa Miranda is the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of Finance (OF), under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). OF provides executive leadership to the HHS CFO community responsible for the financial stewardship and accountability of HHS’ over $2T annual budget. OF leads the Department’s annual financial statement preparation and audit process; oversees HHS’ financial management systems portfolio; and ensures Department-wide implementation of OMB Circular A-123 "Management's Responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management and Internal control" and compliance with the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019. Ms. Miranda is a member of the Senior Executive Service, a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, and a Certified Government Financial Manager.
