Theresa Falance has practiced human and organizational development over the last 30 years, incorporating various methodologies and management tools to deliver highly-targeted solutions to promote performance excellence. As a talent management and organizational performance practitioner, throughout her career, she has specialized in skill development in Acquisitions, Grants Management, and Project Management. She has served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown and George Mason Universities graduate programs. Ms. Falance is the coauthor of the Grants Management Body of Knowledge (GMBOK), a foundational knowledge bank of the history, federal regulations, and practice of its lifecycle. She is also a coauthor of Models and Strategies for Training Design by Karen L. Medsker et al, which is a graduate level textbook on training adults. She recently completed a plan for a Grants Management Curriculum Certificate program for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and is a contributor to both HHS and the National Science Foundation competency models for grants management and acquisition project management. Ms. Falance was Director of Performance Management for Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) and recently joined her colleagues at ManTech after its acquisition of KGS. She currently works in the Grants Management Practice as a Principal Subject Matter Expert. Theresa Falance lives with her family and terriers in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.
