Assistant To the Architect of the Capitol, Architect of the Capitol

Since joining the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) in 2009, Thomas J. Carroll has held several positions. He was first hired as Deputy Superintendent for House Office Buildings. In 2011, he became Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for ensuring sound financial stewardship as well as providing value-added analysis to give insight into the financial implications of program decisions. In 2018, Mr. Carroll was promoted to his current position as Assistant to the Architect.

Mr. Carroll graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. He also holds a Master of Science degree in administration from Central Michigan University.
