During FY 2022 improper payments declined across the federal government, but the recent pandemic ushered in historic levels of spending and, with it, renewed payment integrity concerns. This session will explore the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP’s) three-year plan to leverage collaborative governmentwide efforts to address this critical issue.

- The Biden Administration set priorities related to payment integrity and improper payments. - Making sure federal funds are properly used at the local level presents challenges, but recent advancements are improving payment integrity. - Treasury supports Federal agencies and federally funded state-administered programs through its Office of Payment Integrity’s data sharing and analytics.
